"50/1 CELEBRATION"
Home Normal, a small independent record label based in Nakajuku, Tokyo, released her 50th (!) record and Birdts first one on a label. This calls for a celebration. "Place For One Day" is now available in the HomeNormal store
and many other stores. There are still a few copies of the limited 12" vinyl available on bandcamp
or order one by sending an email to iwouldlikearecord@birdt.nl
Birdt (formerly Bird) +++ plays folk|drone|pop. Since our start we officially selfreleased a maxi single on vinyl
called "Arjenballet" and as the latest result a full length CD called "Place For One Day" released on HomeNormal, Japan. Birdts liveshows come in different shapes: as a duo, all stripped-down: Janne Mansens on violin and second vocals & Bardt van der Dennen on
guitar and vocals. As a trio or a quartet when accompanied by Sascha Schmitt on accordeon and/or Gareth Davis on bass clarinet.
